Membership
Membership in USNA/NSNA is $30.00 for the first year and $35.00 for renewing members. Once the membership dues have been paid, the student is a member of both the state organization (USNA) and the national organization (NSNA).
*School chapter dues are separate from NSNA membership dues.
NSNA has designated two levels of membership:

ACTIVE members:
- Students enrolled in state approved programs leading to licensure as a registered nurse
- Registered nurses enrolled in programs leading to a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing
ASSOCIATE members:
- Prenursing students that are enrolled in college or university programs designed as preparation for entrance into a program leading to an associate degree, diploma or baccalaureate degree in nursing.
- Associate members have all the privileges of active membership except they are unable to hold to position of president and vice president at the state and national levels.
